Shopping in Bandung

Our trip this time more for shopping. As usual, our favorite place is Pasar Baru. No matter how many times we went there, we unable to visit all the shops there. Its too huge with to many sellers. Our hands is fulled with shopping begs just by visit few levels. Most of everything that we need can be found here.
  
The most popular item here is Telekung, the apparel that Muslim women wear during perform their prayer.Variety of designs and colors. And the most important part is, it is a lot lot more cheaper than in Malaysia. Every time I went there I will surely at least buy 1 for me.
Perfumes are cheap too. You can select any fragrance and any bottle/ size or content.The 10ml perfume just IDR 10000 per bottle.
 We went there since morning and did not realized we've been walking and shopping for few hours already till our stomach  makes noise . Will all the shopping begs, our access was limited to the nearest area only. So we walked to the Ampera restaurant opposite Pasar Baru.
                 


 Stomach fulled, The shopping continues. Before  the road full with cars and traffic jam  got worst, we decided to return to hotel and continue shopping the next day. We've been there for 5 days. Enough time for shopping. I have lots more to shopping for my younger brother's wedding ceremony. Door gifts, Bedsheets and lot more orders from my mum and sis.
As for me, hard to find cloth for my body size in Malaysia but its different in Bandung. Lot of choices and design. Ideal place to shop for Muslims apparels.  Just for your info, the Taxi fare from Pop hotel to Pasar Baru is from IDR 27000-30000. Please choose taxi which using  taxi's meter. However, Taxi Fare from pasar baru will be lot more expensive due to the traffic jam . But normally  from to Pasar Baru to Festival City Link@Pop hotel the taxi fare is IDR 50000.

 On our last day shopping, I  met my new Travel mate.. 24 Inch, expandable @470,000 Rupiah. Easy for me to bring home all the this I shopped. My favorite color, Blue!!

Burnt sugar apam? Funny... :))  I'm alone today.... get bored and have nothing to do, so i surfed the website and look for new recepies which are simple and easy to try.... finally, i found one... in malay, it is known as Apam Gula Hangus but when translated to english, it's called as Burnt Sugar Apam... funny :))  Does anyone know the correct name of this Apam in english?  :)) Original recipies from My resipi.com   Here is the recipe. ;)) Ingredients ( for whole family ) * 2 eggs * 1 cup sugar * 1 cup water * 1/2 cup cooking oil * 2 tablespoon margerine * 2 tablespoon sweetened creamer * 1 tablespoon bicarbonate soda * 1 1/2 cup flour Directions: 1.
