Toy Museum in Penang : The World Largest Toy Museum

Have any of you went to Toy Museum , Penang? . Honestly, I never heard about this museum before  (i'm not a toy's lover..that' why :">:"> ) .  but during our visit to Penang Hill  , a young girl gave me the Toy Museum's pamphlet . Since we got no plan, we decided to visit this museum and take a look what's inside the museum.

The Museum was the passionate dream of its owner Loh Lean Cheang, a consultant engineer by profession, who got the idea when he visited the Toy and Model Museum in London 30 years ago. He has been collecting toys from all parts of the world ever since. His greatest hobby is now offering untold enjoyment for all ages. The journey of collecting toys started from his first , "Popeye" which cost him half a pound to his most expensive Life Size Robot at RM 9,000( US $2370)in recent years. His favorite toy is the figurine of "My Goddess" from Japan, which he bought for about RM1,000 (US $265) . Despite having such a vast collection, he continues to buy toys at an average of RM 3000 - 5000 a month.

There are more than 100,000 items of international brands of collectible models and toys. You are free to pose with the most iconic life size figures from the block buster movies and computer games.

The most intresting part in this Toy Museum is... their Toliet :)) So nice :))
 
This Toy Museum opens 9.00am to 9.00pm daily. Entrance fees are RM10 for adults and RM6 for children below 12 years old.  Located nesides the Copthorne Orchid Hotel , Tanjung Bungah Road, Penang, Malaysia.

Burnt sugar apam ? (Apam Gula Hangus )

Funny... :))  I'm alone today.... get bored and have nothing to do, so i surfed the website and look for new recepies which are simple and easy to try.... finally, i found one... in malay, it is known as Apam Gula Hangus but when translated to english, it's called as Burnt Sugar Apam... funny :))  Does anyone know the correct name of this Apam in english?  :)) Original recipies from My resipi.com   Here is the recipe. ;)) Ingredients ( for whole family ) * 2 eggs * 1 cup sugar * 1 cup water * 1/2 cup cooking oil * 2 tablespoon margerine * 2 tablespoon sweetened creamer * 1 tablespoon bicarbonate soda * 1 1/2 cup flour Directions: 1.
