Hot Plate Yee Mee vs Black Pepper Chicken Rice

Image
Hot Plate Yee Mee and and Black Pepper Chicken rice is wide available in most of the TESCO's food courts. Well, anyway, the Yee Mee is usually deep fried to crisp prior to cooking. The noodles will then be cooked together with a special sauce on a hot plate. After a while, additional sauce and also some chicken, and mushrooms will be added . You have the option of adding an egg into the dish if you like to. Once ready, the dish will be garnished with some fresh vegetables and served. Dried chillies used in the sauce make it a little spicy. And..the Black Pepper Chicken rice, the only different is the rice itself...hahaha... they use the same sause!. That's why I prefer Hot Plate Yee Mee. Best served with that sause. My younger sister prefer that Black Pepper Chicken rice..well, different people, different taste. The price for each dish is RM 4.00 (additional RM 0.50 if you want to add egg) Recipe : Hot Plate Yee Mee (In Malay) i'll Translate in english by request. Baha...

Two cute Papayas from the backyard

Image
I took this two cute papayas from the backyard. i love to eat papaya but do we know the benefits that we get if we eat this fruit?.. check it out... Papaya Deliciously sweet with musky undertones and a soft, butter-like consistency, it is no wonder the papaya was reputably called the "fruit of the angels" by Christopher Columbus. Once considered quite exotic, they can now be found in markets throughout the year. Although there is a slight seasonal peak in early summer and fall, papaya trees produce fruit year round. Papayas are spherical or pear-shaped fruits that can be as long as 20 inches. The ones commonly found in the market usually average about 7 inches and weigh about one pound. Their flesh is a rich orange color with either yellow or pink hues. Inside the inner cavity of the fruit are black, round seeds encased in a gelatinous-like substance. Papaya's seeds are edible, although their peppery flavor is somewhat bitter. The fruit, as well as the ot...

Different types of coffee

Image
Take a look at the different types of coffees that you can order in a Coffee House. Have you ever wondered what they actually were? Below is a list of the different types of coffees you can order at most Coffee Houses. CaffÈ Latte ...... [caf-AY LAH-tay] Espresso with steamed milk and in some shops, a small cap of foam. It has less foam than a cappuccino. Definitions blur easily here. In Australia: " 'Latte' gets you a _glass_ with a shot of espresso and lots of milk and some foam - half way between a flat white and a cap. Seems to have originated as the breakfast drink of Sydney commuters. Has become infinitely fashionable due to the need for brass glass holders, which only the fashionable coffee houses have (the rest of us wrap the glass in a napkin)" Kenneth Davids, noted coffee author, says that CafÉ au lait is simply the French name for CaffÈ Latte. He states that in Spain, this same drink is called CafÉ con leche ***** CaffÈ Mocha ........ [caf-AY MO...

Double treble for Kedah

Image
By ERIC SAMUEL KUALA LUMPUR: Kedah made history when they sealed their second consecutive treble with a 3-2 come-from-behind win over Selangor in the Malaysia Cup final at the National Stadium in Bukit Jalil last night. Kedah, who have already retained the FA Cup and Super League crowns, thus, confirm their status as the new powerhouse of Malaysian football. But it took them a while to get going in front of the 50,000-odd fans. And that too only after Selangor had drawn first blood when Frank Seator put them ahead in the 18th minute. The Canaries then turned on the power to floor the Red Giants with three goals in six minutes.
