Titi Hayun Waterfall & Tangga Kenari
Yan is my hometown. Located in Kedah , about 50 km from Alor Setar and 30 km from Sungai Petani.
There are a lot beautiful places and waterfall at this area but the most popular waterfall is Titi Hayun Waterfall. It's about 15minutes from my house. This recreational forest got its name from the suspension bridge ("Titi")
Titi Hayun
"Titi" mean bridge
It is strategically located at the starting point of the steps to the peak of Gunung Jerai which is known as Tangga Kenari Seribu Tahun.
An interesting one kilometer hike through natural forest (jungle track) leads to the Puteri Mandi waterfalls. There is a wide variety of flora and fauna of lowland dipterocarp forest .
A chalet available for those who plan to stay at this recreational park.
