Trip to Bukit Tinggi

Have you ever see a friend posting or blogging about Bukit Tinggi , a nice photo like taken in some other countries?. Well, I did. When the first time I saw a photo shared by a friend on my facebook wall, I told myself that I have to go there.  To be honest, nothing much there. It just a French Theme Resort. The building like an old French buildings. One of my friend thought it have Theme Park and she so excited to get there. So, here we are.  To enter this place, you will have to pay MYR 12 per Adult and MYR 8 per Child. When you reach Colmar tropical, You can take a free ride to Japanese Village/Botanical Garden using the Resort transport. After all, It a good place to take photo :) Located 3,500 feet above sea level, the Japanese Village is the first of its kind outside Japan. Gunung Lang Recreational Park, Ipoh

.           In the evening, we went to Gunung Lang recreational park. In the beginning, I was a bit skeptical  as I never heard about it before. We arrived there at 5pm and a bit disappointed been told that the last boat departed at 5 pm. So, we don't have change to take the boat and visit the small island in the middle of the lake. When we are about to leave, one of the staff called us and told that they extended the boat operation hours due to School Public holiday. A bit introduction about this place.                                      Gunung Lang is a recreational park nestled between limestone hills off Jalan Kuala Kangsar, about 5km away from the city center. Located a short distance away from Perak Tong Cave Temple, visitors are greeted by a magnificent lake hemmed in by majestic limestone outcrops, where a landscaped garden lies far across the waters. My last trip to Ipoh was too short plus bad weather, so don't have chance to visit Ipoh. So this time, we decided thera a 2 A must visit place that we  should go. 1. The lost world of Bukit Tambun and Gunung Lang Recreation park. In not into water park, but I want to get there at least once in a life time for experience. As usual, our place to stay, Kinta Riverfront Hotels 7 Suites. Nothing much to say, just pictures to share. Beautiful Morning in Ipoh, view from level 9 Ice kacang sold in the Theme park I hate the toilet. No wall and you can check you friend in the next toilet  Normal price for Adult (malaysian) MYR 50 but my friend told us that they use Mesra card by Petronas and get discount. Just MYR 30 per adult. Make sure you dont bring any food as they will check each bag and you'll have to leave it at the count. Pay MYR 1 to keep the food there. Mineral Water is allowed.

Just noticed that my post on Hadramawt still in my draft folder..hehehe. For your info, Hadramawt offer an extensive array of authentic Middle Eastern and Yemini cuisine, their recipes all derived from the original country. Well, as we know, Malaysia famous with foods. you don't have to travel to middle East to try their foods coz all kind of foods can be easily found in Malaysia. in conjunction of a friends birthday, we planned to celebrate at Hadramawt in Glenmarie. Actually, this on is hadramawt kitchen but they do have few table for customer to dine in. My sis used to eat here before, she's the one who recommended this place. They have ala carte and set menu for guest. Below was our choices. We did order for Chicken Mandy and lamb Madghout... I think.... we went there last month... now I almost forgot.. whether it chicken mandy or Madghout.. or lamb mandy/madghout..hahaha It was only 3 of us. But actually this menu for 4pax. 1/2 chicken and 1/2 kg Lamb.
