Penang Fair 2008 which is also known as Pesta Penang 2008 was held from 29th November 2008 ~ 31st December 2008. During our visit to my brother's house, we took this opportunity to visit Penang Fair 2008 The Fair area, located just about 5 minute away from my brother's house. Admission fees for adults have been reduced from RM4 last year to RM3 this year. Children aged between seven and 12 will be charged RM1 each. It's a month-long fun fairs of 160 kiosks with rides, games and a trade exhibition to cater for the whole family. We were lucky that night to watch live performance by Awie ( 25th December 2008). There was a stall available for those who plan to have their own family's t-shirt with their family's picture. T-shirt will be print with photo given on the spot. A lot of stalls available for those who love to shopping and eat (like me). I brought 2 pieces of selendang worth RM 10 each (Normal price RM 15)

Year end is the best time to plan a holiday trip. Foreign exchange market will be slow, spread getting bigger, Christmas holiday and etc. So, my family and I took this opportunity to visit the Taiping Zoo. Taiping Zoo is special in its own way. It is located in a lovely natural setting in Taiping Lake Gardens close to the foot of the Larut Hill (Maxwell Hill). Covering an area of 34 acres, the Taiping Zoo has embarked on an expansion programme which includes the building of new "Open Concept" animal enclosures. These enclosures ...
